When it comes to building your very own website, you're going to need two different things. Number 1, you're going to need a domain name and Number 2, you're going to need to have web hosting.

Now, let me give you an analogy that would make more sense to just about everybody. Number 1, let’s talk about houses. In order to get to a house or an apartment, you're going to need to have an address, and that’s essentially what a domain name is. Now, you're also going to need to have a house and you're going to need to add things to a house on the outside, which would be the design; and you would need to add things on the inside, like furniture, which could be the content.
